Most of the photography on this site is Powerline’s own, taken on Powerline sites. Three service pages still carry a freely-licensed library image as a stand-in, and those are the images credited here.

Why this page exists

Powerline has now supplied its own site photography, and it is used throughout the site — on the homepage, the sector pages, the capability scopes and most of the service pages. Those images are captioned as Powerline installations because that is what they are.

Three services — HVAC, fire systems and low current — have no supplied photograph yet, so they still carry an openly-licensed image from Wikimedia Commons as a stand-in. Each one is captioned on the page as a library photograph rather than as Powerline’s own work, because implying otherwise would misrepresent the company.

Those licences require attribution by name, which is what this page provides. As the remaining photography arrives, these images are replaced and this page shrinks accordingly.

Modifications

Each image has been cropped to a 2:1 ratio, desaturated, blended toward the Powerline colour ramp and lightly vignetted. Where a licence is share-alike, these adaptations are offered under the same licence as the original.

The logo, wordmark, diagrams, technical plates, all site photography of Powerline’s own work, and all written copy on this site belong to Powerline and are not covered by the licences above.
