1. Who we are

2. What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, the company or body corporate you represent, your email address, your telephone number, the service you are enquiring about, the property type, and whatever you write in the message field.

If you use the energy estimator and then send an enquiry, the inputs you selected (building type, floor area and monthly electricity spend) are carried across so we can respond usefully.

Our website analytics record aggregate usage — pages visited, approximate region, device type — and are not used to identify individual visitors.

3. Why we process it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, arrange a site visit, and carry out any work you appoint us to do.

To keep records required by law, including compliance certification records and their supporting test data.

To improve the website. We have a legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful.

4. Your consent

The enquiry form asks you to confirm that we may contact you about your enquiry. You may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect records we are legally required to keep, such as certification test data.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only where necessary: with our email delivery provider so the enquiry reaches us, with technicians assigned to your job, and where we are legally obliged to disclose it.

Where work requires a certificate to be lodged with a local authority or supplied to an insurer, the relevant installation details are shared for that purpose.

6. Where it is stored

Enquiries are delivered to our email systems and may be processed on infrastructure located outside South Africa. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient is subject to comparable data-protection obligations.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept only as long as needed to follow up, and are then deleted.

Records relating to completed work, including compliance certificates and test data, are retained for the period required by the applicable regulations and by our insurers.

8. CCTV and recorded footage

Where we install surveillance systems for a client, the client remains the responsible party for the footage that system records. We install systems capable of supporting signage, retention limits and access control, but the operating policy is the building owner's.

9. Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

10. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry submissions are validated server-side and rate-limited. Access to enquiry records is limited to staff who need it.

11. Cookies

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any analytics in use is configured to avoid identifying individual visitors. If a map is displayed, it is loaded only after you choose to display it, so Google sets nothing before then.

We may update this notice. The current version is always the one published on this page.
