The problem

Most facilities receive one number a month: the total on the municipal bill. That number cannot tell you which chiller is failing, which tenant is subsidising another, or whether last year's lighting retrofit actually paid for itself. Meanwhile tariffs climb and load-shedding turns a comfort problem into an operational one. Metering and auditing turn a single number into decisions.

Typical timeline

A walk-through audit takes 1 to 2 days on site with the report inside two weeks. Metered baselining needs a minimum of one full billing cycle before conclusions are reliable — we will say so rather than report early.

Does my building need an Energy Performance Certificate?
South African regulations require EPCs to be displayed for certain categories of building above defined floor areas, including many offices and public-sector buildings. We assess whether your building falls in scope and prepare the supporting data.
What kind of savings are realistic?
It depends entirely on the building's current condition, and any contractor quoting a percentage before measuring is guessing. Lighting, HVAC scheduling and control tuning are usually where the fastest payback sits. Our estimator gives an indicative range; the audit gives you the real number.
Can you install solar?
We plan and deliver the transition to clean energy sources including solar. We size the system against measured demand from the audit, which avoids the two common outcomes — a system too small to matter, or one too large to ever pay back.
How does sub-metering help with tenants?
It replaces an apportioned estimate with a measured reading. Recovery becomes accurate, disputes drop, and heavy users become visible instead of subsidised by everyone else.
